You should do (Word--Using MS Word I) before doing this exercise. This exercise helps you to learn to use MS Word. Please print out this page, then follow the directions step by step to complete the work.

  1. Open MS Word.
  2. Open the "Halloween" document: Click the Open button on the Standard toolbar (or click File, then click Open). When the Open dialog box appears, click the Look in triangle, Select the 3 ½ Floppy ( a: ). High light the file you want to open, then click Open.
  3. Continue to type in your "Halloween" document: Put your cursor at the end of the document and type the following:

 

"Treat " refers to the candy that they expect to be given. "Trick" refers to the activities that they plan to do if they don't get a treat. If you have small children, it is best to take them to the houses of people whom you know and trust. In recent years, some of the fun has been taken out of Hallween by people who put harmful things in children's bags.

 

  1. Check spelling again.
  2. Save your new typing into an existing document: To save your new typing into an existing document, click the Save button on the standard toolbar. The computer will save it for you.
  3. Print your document.
  4. Close the document: Click File in the menu bar Select Close.
  5. Exit Word: Click the X button in the top right corner.
  6. Hand in your work.
