This exercise helps you to learn how to find information about job openings on the Internet. Please print out the page, then follow the instructions step by step:
- Decide on a kind of job that you would like to apply for.
- Use the Internet to find information about three job openings about the kind of job that you have decided on and record the information you find below. You may look into the following sites:
http://www.jobsearchonline.com, http://www.alljobsearch.com
http://www.interec.net, http://www.headhunt.com
You may also just go to yahoo.com or msn.com in the search box type "job search", which will bring you numerous job sites. Read the descriptions next to the site, pick the ones that offer information about the kind of job that you have decided on. Many sites require that you register with them.
