LIB150 Research in the Electronic Environment
Spring 2008

Description
This five-week course meets Wednesday evenings, April 16 – May 7 from 6 - 8 pm & online (12 hours). An orientation meets on Wednesday, April 2 at 6-7pm in LB2236A (Library).

Prerequisites
ENG101 and basic computer skills.

Course Outcomes/Learning Objectives:
On completion of this course, you should be able to:

  • Develop and focus a research question
  • Employ a variety of research strategies over the research process
  • Be familiar with a broad spectrum of information resources
  • Demonstrate the ability to evaluate information critically
  • Use a standard bibliographic format to document and annotate sources
