netLibrary
netLibrary is a collection of over 6,600 eBooks. These
eBooks can be accessed through the Catalog
of the Seattle Community College Libraries, or by going directly
to netLibrary.
eBooks can be browsed online or checked out for a period of
3 days. Pages may be printed out or copied, one page at a time.
To check eBooks out, you will need to physically go into an
SCC Library and create
an account. After that, you will be able to access netLibrary
on campus or off-site. |

The ProQuest Direct database provides access to articles
from over 2,000 magazines, journals and newspapers. The majority
are available full text -- meaning the entire article is available
to read, print, send by email, or download to disk. Subjects
covered include arts, business, humanities, health, social sciences,
science and technology. The Washington State Newstand section
of ProQuest provides full-text articles from major newspapers

Database (MEDLINE)
PubMed provides access to MEDLINE, a bibliographic database
covering the fields of medicine, nursing, dentistry, veterinary
medicine, the health care system, and the preclinical sciences.
MEDLINE contains bibliographic citations and author abstracts
from more than 4,000 biomedical journals published in the United
States and 70 other countries. PubMed
