Cancer Information Summaries: Treatment
Comprehensive cancer information from the the National Cancer
Institute. The PDQ database contains summaries of the latest published
information on cancer prevention, detection, genetics, treatment,
supportive care, and complementary and alternative medicine. Summaries
are provided for patients and for health care professionals.

"The National Library of Medicine (NLM), on the campus of
the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, Maryland, is the
world's largest medical library. The Library collects materials
in all areas of biomedicine and health care, as well as works
on biomedical aspects of technology, the humanities, and the physical,
life, and social sciences.

Bastyr University, located in Kenmore, Washington, focuses on
alternative medicine, including naturopathy, acupuncture, Oriental
medicine, herbal sciences and nutrition. Their library and its
resources are open to the public. The library's web site has a
good collection of links to web sites on alternative medicine.

This site is geared more towards health professionals or librarians
helping people find information, however there are some good links
