Place Materials on Reserve

Copyright Guidelines - Reserve Materials
Get a jump on the new quarter by submitting materials for the Course Reserves
Collection today! Just print out the Reserves Form [MSWord
or Adobe PDF], fill
it out, and return it to the Circulation Desk at the SCCC Library. The
form now allows you to submit up to 6 items at a time.
Items that may be placed on reserve include:
- books
- periodicals
- audio tapes
- CD-Rom disks
- photocopies
- maps and other realia
providing that library staff can adequately store and access them. Materials
may be personally-owned, department desk copies, or items from the library
main collection (excluding reference materials and library-owned A/V materials.)
Questions about copyright regulations should be directed to a librarian.
Instructors may select a loan period from the following:
- 1, 2, 3, or 4 hours
- 1 day
- 3 days
- 1 week
Hourly items may be designated for
"Library Use Only." Hourly items may not be checked out for overnight
use without written permission from the instructor.
If you would like to restrict the use of your materials to your students,
you must provide us with a copy of your class list.
Instructors should allow for a 36-hour processing
time.
