The Landscape Horticulture Program at South Seattle Community College is a vocational program offering a one-year certificate, an Associate of Applied Sciences degree, and training toward a number of professional certificates.

The program is housed on the edge of the Arboretum. Besides the Arboretum, the facilities include classrooms, a greenhouse, cold frames, a shade house and a retail garden center.

Student projects have included the construction of large cold frames, the design of new gardens, the installation of gardens, the construction of hardscape features and irrigation systems, and garden renovations.
